CURRENT NOTICES

Thank you to all the members that turned up on Saturday 15th February to complete a working bee for the club. There were thirty people involved completing many projects:

  • Cleaning the car park, gardens and grounds removing leaves and other rubbish.

  • Sweeping the bowling green to remove excess sand and marking the rinks.

  • Cleaning bowling shed and sorting the bowls

  • Washing all of the glasses

  • Fixing the fan in the toilets

  • Painting the back door and window sills

  • Cleaning all of the chairs

  • Deep clean of the kitchen floor and deep clean with the vacuum for carpets

  • Cleaning all of the windows inside and outside

  • Fixing the brick paving at the bowling green

  • Cleaning the kitchen area and ovens

  • Cleaning up the back area and the back store room

Just to mention a few. A major job completed from early Saturday morning into the early afternoon. A big thank you to everyone involved. These are the names that were registered on the day. If I have missed anyone it is because we didn’t have your name on the list. Please let us know.

All members are asked to assist with a busy bee on Saturday 15th February from 10.00am

Please support this, so that we can be proud of our building and grounds. Please bring along any tools or equipment that you may have to assist us.

There is one specialty that needs looking into, and that is the Pidgeon’s in the roof cavity, if anybody is capable or keen to have a look in the cavity that would be greatly appreciated.

  • Working Bee to be held Saturday 15th February from 10am

  • Clean all windows and glass doors

  • Vacuum and dust the snooker area, including under tables and legs

  • Repaint window sills – snooker area

  • Back entrance off car park. Repaint wood

  • Remove leaves from carpark and bowling green

  • Clean bowling green and re-mark

  • Repair paving on bowling green area

  • Replace exhaust fan gents toilets

  • Clean kitchen area

  • Clean up back store room area

A big thank you for everything that you do at the Commercial Club. Your unselfish commitment to our club is only exceeded by Jo who is equally as generous by giving you up to serve the club.
